For my Documentary Design/Production capstone course in college, I had the chance to direct a documentary about a journey of a dedicated Muslim dealing with mental illness finding answers to her questions and hopefully acceptance despite the stigma.

This documentary holds a piece of my heart as it is the first film I direct. I was honored to tell a story about self-discovery and finding a sense of belonging. My team and I were honored to have our film selected to screen in the MSU Student Shorts block at the 2019 Traverse City Film Festival.
