Hello there! My name is Fatma A. Alsaif, a passionate filmmaker and a storyteller

I specialize in film and media production, with a passion for fiction and documentary filmmaking. While in Michigan, I was lucky enough to meet several amazing teachers who opened my eyes to the world of film and media production; this would alter the path of my life in more ways than I could ever imagine.

While walking by my college advisor's office one day, I saw a flyer about minors my college is offering, and documentary production was on the list. What started by chance turned out to be the perfect mix of technical challenge and creative outlet, and I decided right there and then that it absolutely must be my career.

After studying media and information at Michigan State University in 2019, I have interned for two advertising agencies in Lansing, Michigan, in hopes of becoming more professional and expand my horizon. A year and a pandemic later, I found myself growing more professionally and connect more with others in the industry from Michigan and Saudi Arabia when I moved back in August 2020.
One of my lifelong goals is to focus on professional development and personal growth. So, I have dedicated the time to take courses and workshops through Coursera and the Saudi Ministry of Culture and connect with other Saudi filmmakers and content creators.

“Movies touch our hearts and awaken our vision, and change the way we see things. They take us to other places, they open doors and minds. Movies are the memories of our life time, we need to keep them alive.”
